My path to becoming a therapist grew out of a deep passion for helping people recognize the strength that has been within them all along, even if life has made it hard to see. I truly believe people are resilient, creative, and often capable of far more than they give themselves credit for. One of the most meaningful parts of this work for me is getting to witness someone begin to see themselves differently, sometimes for the very first time. There is something incredibly powerful about watching a person reconnect with who they are underneath the stress, pain, self-doubt, or survival patterns they've carried. Being even a small part of that journey is something I don't take lightly, and it's a privilege to walk alongside people during some of their most vulnerable and important moments of growth. When I work with clients, I aim to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and real, where people can show up exactly as they are without fear of judgment.
My style is person-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I work primarily with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, substance use, or relationship challenges. I often draw from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, and strengths-based techniques, but I believe the heart of therapy is the relationship itself. My hope is that clients leave sessions feeling seen, understood, and more connected to their own ability to heal, grow, and move forward.
