Good Faith Estimate

No Surprises Act for self-pay patients

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide patients who are uninsured or not using insurance with an estimate of expected charges for medical services.

You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time prior to receiving care.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
