I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology in 2008. Following that, I pursued my Medical Doctor (MD) degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, and graduated in 2012. To further specialize in family medicine, I underwent residency training at the Seneca Lakes Family Medicine Residency Program in Seneca, SC, and became a certified Family Medicine Physician in 2015.
I have had the privilege of working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, gaining valuable insights into the field. I practice patient-centered family medicine, focusing on wellness and disease prevention. Longer visits through Telehealth allow me to get to know my patients so that together we can develop an individualized plan of care.
"It is much more important to know what sort of patient has a disease, than to know what sort of disease a patient has."
